FAIRGROUNDS
Wild Hog Festival fairgrounds offers loads of fun for all ages. There are art & craft booths, commercial booths, rides, games, food, and drinks.
Food
There are multiple refreshment areas around the showground to tempt your taste buds offering everything from small snacks to good ole American classics.
You can enjoy ethnic Mexican feast including chicken fajitas, gorditas, tacos, and nachos. Or you can taste Creole battered chicken. If that’s not enough, plain ol classic American hot dogs and burgers, polish sausage are too. To cool it all down, plain water, sodas, smoothies, fruit punch, Hawaiian Shaved Ice in multiple fruit flavors are available.
CRAFTS
Wild Hog Festival gives a good opportunity for vendors and art-exhibitors to showcase their craft and merchandise.
There are plenty of crafts to choose from including homemade scented candles, soaps, potteries, paintings, quilts, jewelry, purses, unique style cowboy hats, and much more.
Visitors can leisurely stroll through the booths set under the shady oak trees to find items at affordable prices. There will also be raffles.
games
There are games and rides for the whole family to enjoy at the festival. Mechanical bull riding, bouncy castles, carnival games are just a few to mention.
ENTERTainment
There are multiple performances to enjoy at the festival from historical enactments to musical and dance performances.
The Fire-on-the-Mountain Cloggers from San Antonio are devoted to a dance steeped in American cultural history and dedicated to preserving the traditional aspects of clogging by combining intricate footwork with live bluegrass music. The team has performed throughout Texas and other states for over twenty years. International performances include shows in Germany, Venezuela as well as International culture festival in Xalapa, Mexico.
CHARITY AUCTION
Charity auctions are held every year at festival grounds. The auction allows for visitors to bid on some unique items. The funds raised help the Sabinal Lions Club to keep up with their services.
